TWR Terms of Service

Welcome to thewegandareview.org, the website of The Weganda Review (TWR), a literary journal produced in Uganda. This document governs how you can access, browse and use this website, which is offered as a public service according to the charitable objectives of Weganda Foundation Ltd., a cultural non-profit incorporated in Uganda in 2023. By accessing or browsing this website, now or at any other time, by any means or via any device, and by registering your details to access certain services offered by this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions, effective July 1, 2023. As these terms can change at any time, we encourage you to revisit this document periodically. Your continued use of this website constitutes your agreement to these terms of service.

Our Business

TWR is a literary journal publishing essays, fiction, poetry, diaries, art and other material curated by the editorial team in the production of an issue of TWR or sometimes specifically for this website. It is a project of Weganda Foundation Ltd., a company limited by guarantee and registered as such with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau. Its registered postal address is 114885 Kampala, Uganda. Its registered office is 125 Nsawo Estate, Namugongo, Uganda.

Registration

In order to access some services on this website, you will be required first to register and create an account. You agree to protect the confidentiality of your passwords or other account identifiers which you choose and all activities that occur under your account. By registering, you agree that your account and password may not be used by anyone else, and that you will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain unmerited access. You may register from any country where it is possible to do so, and so long as you are an adult, or 18 years of age according to the laws of Uganda.

Payments

You agree to pay the subscription fee incurred through your account in order to access some content on this website. In order to subscribe you will set up an account on the website with valid mobile money (phone) or credit/debit card (bank) information. By submitting such information you authorize TWR to charge the subscription fee incurred through your account to the phone (mobile money) number or credit card you specify at registration.
